Existing Systems
Upgrades, Servicing and Repairs
You do not need to start from scratch. If there are already panels on the roof, most of the value left on the table is in storage, capacity and a healthy inverter.
- 01 Add a Battery to Existing Solar Most systems installed before the battery rebates can take storage. We check your inverter first and tell you if it cannot.
- 02 Panel Add-Ons and Expansion An EV, a pool or a new extension changes your load. We can often add panels to what is already up there.
- 03 Inverter Replacement Inverters are the first thing to fail, usually around year ten. We replace like for like or upgrade you to hybrid.
- 04 Maintenance and Servicing Panels lose output quietly. A service checks output against expected, tightens mounts and cleans where it is safe to.

01 How Is My Solar Quote Worked Out?
It depends on system size, roof type and where you live. Federal certificates and any state scheme are applied to your quote, and you get an itemised breakdown rather than a single bundled figure.
02 What Size System Do I Actually Need?
We size to your usage pattern, not to a price point. Past a certain point you are exporting power for a few cents that you buy back at full rate after dark. Your last four bills tell us more than your roof size does.
03 Do You Use Subcontractors?
No. The person who inspects your roof works for Frostac, and so does the team that turns up on install day. One company stays accountable from the first visit through to warranty.
04 How Long Does an Install Take?
Most residential systems are done in a day. Adding a battery or an EV charger can push it to two. We lodge the grid connection paperwork in parallel so you are not waiting on us afterwards.
05 Will a Battery Pay for Itself?
Sometimes, and sometimes not yet. If your household uses most of its power during daylight, we will tell you to skip storage for now and leave the inverter battery-ready. We would rather say that than sell you one.
06 What Happens if Something Goes Wrong Later?
