These Terms and Conditions are issued by Frostac Pty Ltd (“we”, “us” or “our”), trading as Frostac. Together with the Quote, System Specifications and any Schedules, they form the entire agreement.
Your right to a full refund (site audit). If the physical site audit reveals unexpected layout constraints or roof shading that require a structural configuration yielding a significantly degraded energy performance estimate compared to the original sales expectations, and you do not consent to this variation, you keep an unpenalised right to terminate the contract and receive a 100% refund of your deposit.
10-business-day cooling-off period. For contracts started through unsolicited consumer channels (such as door-to-door or telemarketing), you have a mandatory 10-business-day cooling-off period under the ACL. Your deposit is 100% refundable during this window. Read more about your rights on the ACCC consumer guarantees page.
Services are limited strictly to those stated in the Quote. Installation may be carried out by subcontractors accredited by Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA), or by licensed electricians and refrigeration technicians for other work.
All performance, savings, payback, export and rebate figures are estimates only. We do not guarantee system output, bill reductions, export capability or feed-in tariff availability.
Existing feed-in tariff warning. If you are adding panels to, upgrading or fully replacing an existing solar configuration, your current feed-in tariff arrangement may be modified or permanently terminated by your retailer. We accept no liability for changes to existing feed-in tariff entitlements.
Pricing assumes accurate site information and compliant infrastructure. Variations may arise from:
If you do not accept a variation, you may terminate and receive a refund less any non-recoverable costs already incurred.
20 m of DC cable included
40 m of DC cable included
5 m included
Additional cabling is chargeable. You authorise us to determine the installation method, including conduit, cutting concrete or trenching. We will give written notice of additional costs.
If you are not present, the installer's decision on cable routing is final. Re-routing is chargeable.
A deposit is payable on acceptance. The balance is payable on delivery or installation.
If payment is overdue: warranty and after-sales services are suspended; interest applies at 10% per annum; and reasonable recovery, administrative and legal costs will be charged.
If a proposed rebate (including federal battery rebates) is not implemented or is varied, you must pay the rebated amount.
If your network provider enforces a partial or zero export limit that requires an export control device or a dedicated network meter to achieve compliance, the product and installation costs for that extra hardware are borne entirely by you.
Under AS/NZS 5139:2019, batteries may only be installed in non-habitable, compliant locations. Any pre-installation site modifications or structural additions (such as fire-rated backing boards or surface levelling structures) not itemised in your quote are treated as an additional cost.
Insisting on additional circuits voids performance liability.
The workmanship warranty is void if:
Call-out, labour and testing fees apply where no fault is found.
No liability applies for delays.
Nothing in this Contract excludes ACL guarantees.
Important limitation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we have no liability for indirect or consequential loss, and any liability is limited to repair, replacement or resupply.
You indemnify us against loss arising from:
Accrued rights survive termination of this Contract.
The laws of the State or Territory of installation apply to this agreement.
We collect, use and disclose personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). You consent to us collecting, holding, using and disclosing your personal information for:
Information may be disclosed to installers, manufacturers, DNSPs, regulators, rebate bodies, insurers and professional advisers. Monitoring data may be collected through third-party platforms.
You consent to receiving marketing communications relating to the System. You may opt out at any time. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us, and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.
You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract.

24.1 Prices and price ranges. Prices and price ranges on the website are indicative market ranges, usually shown after rebates. They are not an offer.
The price that applies is the price in your written Quote, which is set after a site assessment and depends on your roof, switchboard, supply, network requirements, products chosen and the date of installation. Prices may change without notice until a Quote is accepted.
24.2 Rebates and certificates. Rebate and certificate amounts shown assume a certificate price of $38, the factors and tiers in force on the date shown and your eligibility. Government programs can change, close or be varied, and the amount depends on the date of installation. Clause 8 applies. We do not guarantee that any rebate will apply.
24.3 Savings, output and payback. Statements about savings, bill reductions, solar output, battery value and payback are estimates only. They depend on assumptions such as location, roof orientation and shading, household or site usage, tariffs, feed-in rates, battery efficiency and weather. Actual results will differ. Clause 4 applies. Worked examples are illustrations, not predictions.
24.4 Product performance and backup. Efficiency, energy-saving and performance statements, including those that say "up to", compare a product with the alternative described and rely on manufacturer data and normal use.
Battery capacity is usable capacity unless stated. Backup operation covers only the circuits configured for backup and is limited by battery capacity, inverter output and switchboard configuration. Clauses 12 and 13 apply.
24.5 Timeframes and availability. Installation times, lead times and approval times are estimates. Clause 16 applies. Stock, accredited installer availability and network approval can change them.
24.6 Commercial and NSW incentives. Business and commercial incentives, including the NSW Peak Demand Reduction Scheme, apply only to eligible NSW sites and eligible equipment, must be created by an Accredited Certificate Provider, and are limited to one incentive per site where the scheme says so.
Values depend on battery size, location, whether solar is paired and the market price of certificates, and may be reduced or withdrawn.
24.7 Free assessments and offers. A free assessment or free quote is available only within our service area and for eligible properties and sites. We may decline or limit an offer, and an offer ends on the date stated or when withdrawn.
24.8 Rebates handled for you. Where we say we claim or handle rebates, you assign the certificates to us under clause 8 and the price shown relies on that assignment. If a rebate is not available or is reduced, clause 8 applies and you pay the difference.
24.9 Third-party information. Links to government and industry websites are provided for general information, are not advice and may change. We do not control that content.
24.10 Order of precedence. If the website and your Quote differ, the Quote prevails. Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
A free assessment, a clear written quote with every rebate you qualify for accounted for, and a straight answer on what suits your home or site.
