15kWh home battery

Generate your own power by day, store it for the evening peak, and stop paying top rates when the sun goes down. We size, supply, install and support, and we handle your battery rebate.

Add a battery and you keep it, running your home through the 4 to 9pm peak on energy you already generated. That is where the real savings sit.
The catch is sizing. Too small and you still buy peak power. Too big and you pay for storage you never fill. We work from your bills, not from a sales target.

Many homes start with a battery-ready inverter and add the battery later. Tell us in the quote form if you already own solar and we will check what you have.
| Solar only | Solar with battery | |
|---|---|---|
| Daytime use | Runs on your panels | Runs on your panels |
| Surplus midday power | Exported for a low feed-in rate | Stored for the evening |
| Evening and overnight | Bought from the grid at peak rates | Largely covered by the battery |
| Outages | Panels switch off with the grid | Selected circuits can stay on, if configured |
The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program gives you an upfront discount on an eligible battery, delivered through small-scale technology certificates (STCs). Your installer claims them, so you do not apply separately.
Since 1 May 2026 the discount is tiered. The first 14kWh of usable capacity earns the full rate, the next 14kWh earns 60 percent of it, and capacity from 28kWh to 50kWh earns 15 percent. The rate, called the STC factor, is 6.8 for installs from May to December 2026 and drops to 5.7 on 1 January 2027. The date of installation decides which applies.
Check the rules on the Clean Energy Regulator battery page and the Department's program page. Our rebates and incentives guide explains how it stacks with state schemes.

Our packages start at smaller homes and scale up.

Most homes need a battery of 14kWh or less, and we size that from your bills at the assessment. Where the rebate tiers change the maths is above 14kWh, so we wrote a guide for the bigger sizes.

large homes and EV households
big properties and small business
farms and commercial sites
The large home battery size guide compares them all.
A battery does not automatically keep the whole house running in a blackout. What stays on depends on three things: the battery capacity, which sets how long backed-up circuits run; the inverter output, which sets how much can run at once; and the switchboard configuration, which sets which circuits are connected to backup at all.
We design backup for selected circuits, such as the fridge, lights, internet and a few power points, and confirm the achievable scope for your home at the assessment. Tell us what you need to keep running.
